Playful by Nature is excited to be seeking a team member to join us in all things nature and exploration! If you have a passion for children and supporting outdoor learning and play, we’d love to hear from you.

 This role is a temporary, casual position. We are looking for someone who is available for our upcoming School Holiday Program (September 18-19), with future opportunities for the right person. NB. If you are not available in September, we will accept expressions of interest for future work, but you must specify this in your application.

 We are seeking someone who:

 ·       Has a natural curiosity and love for the world around us, and can use this to inspire others

·       Is fantastic with kids, particularly between the ages of 6 and 11

·       Is a clear communicator

·       Confident and comfortable managing groups of all ages (yes, that includes adults!)

·       Is practical, has great problem solving and risk management skills

·       Can work independently with small groups of children

·       Can show adaptability around responsibilities and is supportive and

excited about the purpose of our business, which is to build a local nature play community.

Requirements:

·       Has or is willing to obtain Working With Children Check (blue card)

·       Experience working with or caring for children

·       Must be organised, reliable and punctual

·       Own transport

·       Current First aid/anaphylaxis/CPR/Asthma (desirable)

·       Experience with nature play / ‘risky play’ / outdoor rec (desirable)
